Many of engineering researches are increasingly relying on the development and use of Open Source Tools (OST) due to features like quality, flexibility, interoperability, security, etc. In domains like secure cyberspace, advanced personalized learning systems, advanced health informatics, etc. the development and experimentation with OST are gradually becoming popular.
WoOST will focus on use and evolution of OST including the techniques and concepts. It is also expected to trigger research thoughts exploring the issues, challenges and opportunities in the future of OST.
